General information

Properties are all located within the Central Pedestrian area which is within a walking distance of approx 20 minutes from one end to the other.  The ski hire, ski school meeting point, beginner ski area and kindergarten are located in the centre of this area.  Ski lifts are accessable all along the mountain side.

Properties are family/privately owned and run. The Properties and Rooms are all individually designed and therefore vary from Property to Property.  Each room is a different size and the furnishings and layout are individual. In some Properties, the rooms / apartments on the top floor have slanted ceilings. 

Some Properties have a timer on the heating where at certain times of the day/night the heat can be reduced.  The Properties are quite old looking but the higher category Hotels have been modernised.

In Livigno’s properties, the bed in a double room is referred to as a „French Twin“ in that it has a solid base with 2 x mattresses along side each other. Each side of the bed has it’s own individual bedding and pillow.  There are however also „French Twins“ where the base of the beds are also seperated. In triple/quad rooms the bed is usually a sleeper couch which converts into either a single or double bed.

Bedding varies from Property to Property.  Some apartments and lower category accommodations can have sheets and blankets whereas the higher category accommodations have duvets.   The pillows in all are generally hard. Bathrooms consist mainly of showers, basin and toilet.  There are very few baths available and in some Properties none at all.

All properties have cellar ski rooms to store ski equipment or alternatively ski equipment can be stored at Max’s ski hire (only if ski hire is purchased within the package).
